Charge Bliss was awarded $1.5M to design a net-zero energy community for the City of Carson in Los Angeles County.
As is the case for much of the greater L.A. area, pollution and carbon dioxide emissions can be significant.
This is just stage 1, as Charge Bliss was among several awarded the design money.
Stage 2 will comprise of the project implementation and will have up to $26M allocated for the net-zero community.
Charge Bliss demonstrated that its strengths lie on the intersection of where science and technology meet social and civil needs.
